Core Data Processing System

The core processing system is the software and supporting hardware that Maui County Federal Credit Union uses to maintain members’ deposit and loan accounts, process transactions, and support services such as debit cards and online banking.

Upgrading our core system and digital banking solution will unlock a range of benefits, including increasing efficiency, improving your experience, and accessing innovative features. Ultimately, this will assist in providing you with the convenience and flexibility expected in today's digital age. 

Yes, the safekeeping of your account and personal information is the credit union’s top priority. Personal data and account information will be safe and secure throughout the entire upgrade process. 

At the close of business on Thursday, February 29th, through Monday, March 4th. All locations will be closed during this time and will reopen on Tuesday, March 5th for business as usual. 

Members will not have access to online, mobile and phone banking during the upgrade from 11am HST on Thursday, February 29th. All branches will be closed from Friday, March 1 – Monday, March 4, 2024. 

No, all branches will be closed Friday, March 1, through Monday, March 4, 2024. 

Yes, however if using a Maui County Federal Credit Union debit card, deposits will unavailable, and $200 daily withdrawal and transfer limits from 1pm HST February 29 through March 4, 2024.

Yes, your Maui County FCU credit card will work as usual. 

Any loan transfers scheduled during the upgrade dates will post as scheduled if the funds are available.

Dividends for all Savings accounts will be paid as usual on a monthly basis with the exception of Christmas Savings Accounts, for which dividends will be disbursed on February 29, 2024. 

Online & Mobile Banking

No, online and mobile banking will be unavailable from 11am HST on Thursday, February 29th to Monday, March 4th. Members will be notified via email when online and mobile banking are available. Please ensure that we have your current email address on record to receive updates.

The new app “Maui County FCU Mobile” will be available for download on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in the Apple App and Google Play stores. 

Members will need to re-enroll in online banking or in the mobile app. Members will need their social security and member numbers to enroll. For mobile banking, members will need to download the new mobile banking app “Maui County FCU Mobile”. 

Yes. Once members have enrolled in online or mobile banking they will need to re-enroll in e-statements.

No. Please download and save e-statements before 11am HST on Thursday, February 29, 2024. 

Online Bill Payment & External Transfers

No. Bill pay and external transfers setup through our online banking system will not be available in online banking a week prior to the conversion, beginning 4am HST on February 23, 2024

Any bill payments setup through our online banking system that have been scheduled through February 29 will be paid. Any bill pay items scheduled though our online banking system between March 1 - 3, will be processed on March 4 once our systems are back up. From this date, bill pay items will resume as scheduled.

 

Any external account transfers setup through our online banking system that have been scheduled through February 29 will be paid. Any external transfers setup through our online banking system and scheduled for March 1 or later, will not be paid and will need to re-established in the new digital banking system on March 5.

No. Please download and save any history you may need prior to 4am HST on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Yes, any bill payment transfers, payments and payees establish prior to 4am HST on Friday, February 23, 2024 will transfer to the new Bill Pay platform.

No, external transfers will not convert to the new system and will need to be re-established.

Loans

Statements

No, statements will have a new look.

No, all members will receive mailed statements as of February 29, 2024, including those who have enrolled in e-statements. 

Old statements will not be available in online or mobile banking until a few months post conversion. Please download and save any needed e-statements before 11am HST on February 29, 2024.

No, if you received e-statements prior to February 29, 2024, you will not need to re-enroll to receive e-statements.

All members will be able to enroll to receive e-statements through online and mobile banking.

Yes, you should continue to receive your credit card statement separately.

Phone Banking

No, banking by phone will be unavailable March  1 - 4, 2024.

No, members will need to re-enroll in phone banking and establish a new PIN (personal identification number). Members will need their social security number and account number to re-enroll and call from a phone number on record with the Credit Union. 

All members can enroll in phone banking with their account number and full SSN, and call from a phone number that is on record. 

No, the toll free number will be changing to 877-824-4910 as of Tuesday, March 5, 2024.

Yes, on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 phone banking will be available with new menu options.
